A leased line is a private high-performance circuit leased by a common carrier between Customer’s premises and ISP’s NOC (Network Operating Center). It is rented on an annual basis and usually carries voice and data or both.
Unlike a dial-up connection, a leased line is always active. Similarly unlike broadband, a leased line is not contended or shared and delivers dedicated guaranteed bandwidth straight to the internet backbone.
Customers pay a premium for a leased line and it is supported by a comprehensive Service-Level Agreement (SLA) with a guaranteed fix time and a compensation clause.
This dedicated port is available for uninterrupted Internet access for the network, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The bandwidth options available are in the multiples of STMs with dilution rates of 1:1 & 1:2.
Service Level Agreement that guarantees you 100% connectivity with no packet losses. We can provide the required hardware for the installation of the leased line. The hardware support includes hardware components such as Cisco routers, Leased Modems, interfaces converters etc.
Anik Computer & Networking ensures uninterrupted data traffic to north-west zone, with a suite of highly scalable, secure and reliable connectivity services. Powered by next generation network infrastructure, it enables you to run your business operations seamlessly.
Firewall is the first line of defense for any computer user against Internet-based attacks. Sitting just outside of your network, Firewalls are designed to prevent unauthorized access to or from your private network.
Ranging from compact “plug-and-play” desktop firewalls for small and home offices, to modular, carrier-class gigabit firewalls for the most demanding enterprise environments, Security Appliances provide the highest levels of security, performance, reliability and ease of installation available.
Firewalls, offering unprecedented levels of protection, are tightly integrated that combine statefull firewall and IP security (Ipsec) virtual private network (VPN) capabilities.
Firewalls meet the needs of large enterprise networks and service providers. Gigabit throughput, the ability to handle 500,000 concurrent connections, speeds up to 100 Mbps mean true carrier-class performance.
High availability is supported with the deployment of a redundant hot standby unit. Acting as a complete redundant system that maintains current sessions, the unit offers the ultimate resiliency for a fraction of the price.
